The Core Concept: Passive Discovery
Castle operates fundamentally as a passive search engine. Our technology is designed to crawl the public internet and organize existing third-party media links. We do not host video files, nor do we run a centralized streaming server.
Because of this specific architecture, Castle does not require user accounts. You can navigate our directory without submitting an email address, phone number, or creating a profile. We believe that if we do not need your data to provide our service, we should not collect it.
Technical Information We Process
To ensure our application runs smoothly on your specific hardware, we must process a minimal amount of background telemetry. This information is strictly technical and is utilized solely for application stability.
- Device Specifications: We detect your Android operating system version and smartphone/TV model. This prevents the media player from crashing during high-definition playback.
- Local Configurations: Your UI theme preferences and subtitle language choices are stored locally on your device.
- Syncing Mechanisms: We keep an encrypted cache of your bookmarks and watch history. This feature allows you to seamlessly switch from watching on your mobile to your Android TV.
Strict Boundaries on Sensitive Data
We are acutely aware of the cybersecurity challenges faced by users in tier-2 and tier-3 Indian cities. Therefore, Castle is built with a hardcoded block against sensitive personal information.
We absolutely do not collect, monitor, or access government identification, including Aadhaar numbers, PAN cards, or Voter IDs. Furthermore, our software is completely isolated from your financial ecosystem. We cannot view your bank accounts, UPI credentials, or digital wallets like GPay or PhonePe. Your private text messages and photo galleries remain securely locked away from our app.
Advertising Infrastructure
To maintain Castle as a free resource, we rely on digital sponsorships. We integrate with globally recognized advertising networks, such as Google AdMob, to display promotional content within our app.
These third-party networks use non-identifiable digital tokens, primarily the Android Advertising ID, to serve relevant ads and prevent you from seeing the same banner repeatedly. These tokens do not track your real name or physical location. You maintain complete control over this process and can easily opt out of personalized tracking via your Android system's privacy settings.
Hardware Ecosystem Limitations
The Castle software is compiled exclusively for the Android ecosystem. We focus entirely on Android mobiles, Android Smart TVs, and Amazon Firesticks. We offer zero support for Apple hardware, meaning there is no application for iPhones or iPads.
Additionally, Castle does not distribute native executable files for Windows or Mac computers. If you wish to use our media index on a desktop, you are strictly required to use an Android Emulator, such as LDPlayer or BlueStacks. Inside this virtualization software, Castle operates securely and cannot access your primary computer files.
