Saveray Wali Gaadi (1986) is a Drama production helmed by Bharathiraja, set against India. Sunny Deol takes centre stage, pulled into Ravidas, a gifted poet falls in love with Jyoti. Because of differences in caste, the villagers oppose their marriage. He decides to move to the city to fulfill his dreams of becoming a recognized poet and eventually marrying Jyoti.
